Loveland FTC Teams Compete at West Virginia State Tournament

On December 2, FTC Teams 5040 and 10464 traveled to compete in the West Virginia State Championship. This competition is one of the seasons earliest competitions and is the first of the season for both teams. Due to the shortage of teams that are from West Virginia, they open their state tournament up to out of state registration and they attract highly competitive teams. Team 10464, The Bionic Tigers, had a strong standing throughout the day and finished the day as the Connect Award winner, as well as the 2nd place Think and Motivate Award winner.

Team 5040, Nuts & Bolts, ended the qualifying rounds as the 1st seed Alliance Captain, and went on to be the 3rd place Design Award winner, as well as the Winning Alliance Captain, advancing them to the World Championship in Detroit, Michigan in April.
